The other day I had a powercut late in the night and I tried to call my electricity company but they had no operators at that time.
Seemed kinda there should be a service to report to at any hour so I made some enquires about where do UK residents report powercuts in the middle of the night?
Well there is a service and it's called uk power networks, the number for London area is 0800 028 0247
